In over thirty years working in the estate and financial planning arenas, I've loved helping people find solutions to problems some never thought they had — and ultimately take control of their money, rather than it controlling them.

My belief is simple: traditional financial planning doesn't offer adequate solutions for today's complex economy. My mission is to shed light on financial truths, so you understand how money really works and how to make it work for you. I'd rather teach you what I know than ask you to take my word for it.

My story

It started at my own kitchen table — paycheck to paycheck, with no obvious way out.

Newly married, with a larger blended family and a desperate need for home renovations, my husband and I were living paycheck to paycheck. But I found a way to break free of our reliance on financial institutions — and find the money we needed, without going into debt.

Since then, I've spent my career empowering my clients to do the same. There is more to the story than conventional wisdom would have us believe. Each personal struggle became a mission: to find a better way to approach financial planning — one built on sound economic principles, critical thinking, and a focus on an individual's actual needs.

That mission became Financial Design Strategies, and the DESIGN Process that anchors it.

What I believe

Four convictions, behind every recommendation.

01

Traditional planning isn't enough

It doesn't offer adequate solutions for today's complex economy. There's more to the story than conventional wisdom would have you believe.

02

Education over products

Financial design should be driven by economic truths and education that empowers you — not by whatever someone happens to be selling.

03

Avoid losses, don't chase returns

There's greater opportunity in helping you avoid unnecessary losses than in chasing a higher rate of return you can't control.

04

The decision is yours

My job is to make the choices clear and the tradeoffs honest. What you do with your money is always, finally, your call.

The credentials behind the advice

Letters that actually mean something.

Select a credential to see what it means.

Designations aren't decoration — each one represents specific, examined expertise. These shape the parts of your plan I'm equipped to go deep on.

What it's like to work together

The relationship

An ally in the industry — not a salesperson across a desk.

No pressure, no jargon, no products pushed. Just a steady relationship where you're taught, you decide, and we keep adjusting as your life changes.

I meet with clients consistently and stay available for questions or changes whenever life sends them. Over the years, we adjust together — and I keep teaching you what I know, so your whole family grows more confident with money.

"My greatest pleasure is to watch my clients grow and thrive — and most importantly, sleep better, knowing they have an ally in the industry."
