Start with a conversation.
No products, no pressure, no cost. Just a 360-degree look at where you stand and what might be possible. Whether or not we ever work together, you'll leave understanding your own money better than when you walked in. That's the whole promise of the first meeting.
What to expect
You book a time
Pick a slot that suits you, online. There's nothing to prepare and nothing to gather first.
We talk
How you currently save, what you feel is working, and where you'd like help. You ask me anything — about me, my process, and how I work.
You decide
You leave with a clearer view of your money and a sense of whether we're a fit. If we are, we begin. If not, no hard feelings.
How to come prepared (you mostly don't)
Just these
- Your questions — about money, about me, anything
- A rough sense of what you'd like your future to look like
- Curiosity, and a willingness to look at the whole picture
Skip the homework
- Gathering every statement and document first
- Having your finances "figured out" before we talk
- Bracing for a sales pitch — that isn't what this is
Before you book
The questions most people are quietly wondering.
This isn't about a minimum account size. The DESIGN Process works by finding money you're already losing — which often matters most for families who feel they don't have much to spare. If you earn, save, and pay tax, there's something here worth coordinating.
Many of my clients did too. I'm not here to replace a relationship that's working — I'm here to look at the whole picture, including the transfers most planning never examines. If your current plan already covers all of that, you'll simply leave reassured.
No. The first meeting has nothing to buy and nothing to sign. Financial design is driven by economic truths and education, not products. If a product ever belongs in your plan, you'll understand exactly why before it does — and the decision is always yours.
The first conversation is about an hour. From there we move at your pace — Evaluate and Strategize usually take a few meetings, while Grow and Nurture continue for as long as we work together. There's no rush built into any of it.
The introductory session is free. If we decide to work together, I'll be clear and transparent about how I'm compensated before you commit to anything — that openness is part of how I work.
Whatever's easiest for you. Many clients meet virtually; others prefer to sit down together here in Metro Detroit. The process and the care are the same either way.

One hour. No cost. No pressure.
- Free — there's nothing to buy at this meeting
- About an hour, in person or virtual
- You'll leave understanding your money better, guaranteed
- The decision to go further is always yours
