It is our goal at Financial Design Strategies to protect your privacy. We are sending you this notice in accordance with federal law, which requires financial institutions to disclose their privacy policies and practices to consumers who purchase their products and services primarily for personal, family, or household purposes.

Information we collect

We gather private and nonpublic personal information about you to provide you with our products and services. The information we collect starts with the information you provide on our questionnaires, applications, and other forms. We seek to collect and use only information that is necessary and appropriate for the needs of our business. We collect information that relates to your investment needs and objectives, income, finances, employment, investments, and other factors that properly relate to the products and/or services we are providing. If you seek to purchase an insurance product and/or service through us, we may also receive information about your health and other factors needed by the insurer for that purpose. How we share information

Financial Design Strategies does not disclose private or nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as required or permitted by law or as authorized by you in writing. We do not sell customer lists or any information about our customers. We may share information about you with our affiliated companies, associates within the firm, and personnel. Also, we may share information about you with companies and individuals who perform services on our behalf. Examples would include:

• Sharing personal information with our registered investment firms and life insurance companies for purposes of completing your requested transaction.
• Sharing personal information with our service providers who distribute legally required documents such as prospectuses, annual reports, and proxy statements.

Information safeguarding

Financial Design Strategies will internally safeguard your nonpublic personal information by restricting access to only those employees who provide products or services to you or those who need access to your information to service your account. In addition, we will maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that meet federal and/or state standards to guard your nonpublic personal information, review our policies and procedures, and monitor our computer networks.

Mobile opt-in & SMS consent

Mobile opt-in, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared with any third party or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Website and scheduling privacy

When you use yourfds.com, submit a contact form, or schedule time through OnceHub, Financial Design Strategies uses that information to respond to your request and coordinate services with Gina Wells. Visitor data is never sold to third parties.

The following third-party services are used on this website:

• Contact form handler & CRM / email forwarding — form submissions are routed through a Cloudflare Pages Function and forwarded to Financial Design Strategies via email. No submission data is stored on-site or shared beyond what is necessary to fulfill your request.
• Plausible Analytics — cookieless, privacy-first analytics that measure aggregate page traffic without collecting personal identifiers, fingerprints, or cross-site tracking data. No consent banner is required because no personal data is collected.
• OnceHub scheduling — appointment requests are handled by OnceHub (oncehub.com). When you click a booking link you leave yourfds.com and are subject to OnceHub's own privacy policy.
• Hosted checkout provider — BYOB book purchases are completed through a third-party hosted checkout (such as Shopify, Gumroad, or Lemon Squeezy). Card and payment data are handled exclusively by that provider; Financial Design Strategies never sees or stores payment card details.
• Video host embeds — educational videos are embedded from a third-party video host (YouTube or Vimeo). Viewing embedded video may cause your browser to send information to that platform; you can refer to its privacy policy for details.

BYOB information is used only for the planning conversation or resource you requested.

Your choices

You do not need to take any action in response to this notice of our Privacy Policy and Practices. Because we do not share your private or nonpublic personal information other than as described above, you do not need to opt-out or opt-in.
